I recommend that you buy one of ETS's books of actual
GRE tests and a Princeton Review Cracking the GRE book. Better
yet, find these in the library or used book store. If your math skills
are on the low side, get the ARCO SAT Math Workbook. You can buy
some of these directly at our site. See the Bookstore link at the
end of the Tour. If you can afford it, get the ETS PowerPrep software
to practice the CAT test. Also see our Links page for some free Web
based help.
If you need to make some significant improvement, you should definitley
allow yourself 6 to 8 months, since you will have to discover many of the
secrets of the test for yourself. If it doesn't work too well, you
might have to wait a year and try to save the money to get help.
